“Worst of the Worst” comes to LA Aug 5th

My Worst of the Worst art retrospective opens at Shepard Fairey’s Subliminal Gallery in Los Angeles on Saturday, August 5th.  Sponsored by Vans and Antihero, the opening will have a couple noteworthy DJs and lots to see.  On display will be over 20 years of skate graphics for Antihero, plus the beloved pigeon wall and some of my studio work as well. Where Are They Now? New pro set from Antihero

Arriving in shops now from Antihero is Where Are They Now?, a bad trip down memory lane.  Each takes a memorable graphic from yesteryear and fast forwards to today…it ain’t pretty. Decks for Julien, Russo, Cardiel and TNT, these were created in conjuction with Vans-sponsored Worst of the Worst art shows currently underway.

Worst of the Worst in Toronto May 12-19th

Here’s a small slice of my Worst of the Worst art retrospective, currently showing at Toronto’s Blue Tile Lounge.  The show, sponsored by Vans Canada, will be up May 12th through May 19th, and while the signed decks all sold out, there are still some signed screenprints available. “Worst of the Worst” Rolls Into Toronto May 12th

This Friday, May 12th 8-11pm is the opening for “Worst of the Worst” in Toronto’s Blue Tile Lounge.  Sponsored by Vans, the show features tons of decks and original artwork from my decades of work with Antihero, as well as studio drawings, paintings and sketchbooks. John Cardiel aka DJ Juan Love will be spinning tunes, and there will be limited edition decks and screenprints available. It’ll be a great time, bring your mom… see you there!  

Limited Edition Decks and Prints Available at Worst of the Worst Shows

Available only at my ongoing “Worst of the Worst” art shows are a limited run of decks and screenprints. I’ve made a run of 100 Stranger “K9” decks (originally released in 1997) in a new colorway, signed and numbered, as well as a signed edition of 150 “Worst of the Worst” screenprints, printed at Oakland’s Bloom Press.  Both are only available at the art shows (Brooklyn, Toronto and Los Angeles), and once they’re sold out, they’re gonzo. The K9 deck is probably my single favorite board graphic i’ve ever made, and the screenprint features a who’s who of the horrible, ridiculous …
