Vice Interviews Me About My Immaturity

Check this out on Vice Daily, an interview they conducted as we walked through the Toronto stop for my Worst of the Worst art retrospective.  I did my best to tell the truth, like Sean Spicer.

Its The Shit, from Antihero

Coming soon from Antihero is “Its The Shit,” a pro set of decks that isn’t afraid to laugh at poo poo jokes. Here are two of them, decks for Peter Hewitt and Chris Pfanner. In shops soon, stay tuned for more yukks.

New Interview with The Hundreds

I recently talked to The Hundreds’ Anthony Pappalardo about my current Worst of the Worst retrospective…we discussed a great many things, a great many things indeed.  Among them : the screenplays i’ll never write, as well as my history with Antihero.  Anthony says a lot of nice things about me i don’t necessarily agree with. Check it out for yourself, and thanks to The Hundreds! The Hundreds interview TF

If you live in the SF Bay Area, or you’re willing to travel great distances for a hollowed out sourdough roll filled with clam chowder, set aside the night of Saturday, June 24th for my next Worst of the Worst art shows, sponsored by Vans and Antihero. Details coming soon.  Wear something tight.

Where Are They Now? New pro set from Antihero

Arriving in shops now from Antihero is Where Are They Now?, a bad trip down memory lane.  Each takes a memorable graphic from yesteryear and fast forwards to today…it ain’t pretty. Decks for Julien, Russo, Cardiel and TNT, these were created in conjuction with Vans-sponsored Worst of the Worst art shows currently underway.

Worst of the Worst in Toronto May 12-19th

Here’s a small slice of my Worst of the Worst art retrospective, currently showing at Toronto’s Blue Tile Lounge.  The show, sponsored by Vans Canada, will be up May 12th through May 19th, and while the signed decks all sold out, there are still some signed screenprints available. The Friday night opening was fun, featuring an enthusiastic crowd and music by John Cardiel aka DJ Juan Love.  Go see if for yourself if you’re in the area.  Photo by Dan Mathieu.

“Worst of the Worst” Rolls Into Toronto May 12th

This Friday, May 12th 8-11pm is the opening for “Worst of the Worst” in Toronto’s Blue Tile Lounge.  Sponsored by Vans, the show features tons of decks and original artwork from my decades of work with Antihero, as well as studio drawings, paintings and sketchbooks. John Cardiel aka DJ Juan Love will be spinning tunes, and there will be limited edition decks and screenprints available. It’ll be a great time, bring your mom… see you there!

Limited Edition Decks and Prints Available at Worst of the Worst Shows

Available only at my ongoing “Worst of the Worst” art shows are a limited run of decks and screenprints. I’ve made a run of 100 Stranger “K9” decks (originally released in 1997) in a new colorway, signed and numbered, as well as a signed edition of 150 “Worst of the Worst” screenprints, printed at Oakland’s Bloom Press.  Both are only available at the art shows (Brooklyn, Toronto and Los Angeles), and once they’re sold out, they’re gonzo. The K9 deck is probably my single favorite board graphic i’ve ever made, and the screenprint features a who’s who of the horrible, ridiculous …

Worst of the Worst: Brooklyn Went Well

With over 800 attendees, the first stop of my “Worst of the Worst” art retrospective was a good time for Brooklyn’s funsters.  HO99O9 played an incredible set, and all the beer got guzzled.  Thanks to House of Vans Brooklyn for hosting a really great night. Next stop: Toronto!  May 12th-19th at Toronto’s Blue Tile Lounge.
